The Domestic Violence Program

The Domestic Violence Program is funded through State General funds and Federal Family Violence Prevention and Services funds from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Services are provided through a network of community based domestic violence programs and are available in every jurisdiction in Maryland

These funds are used to provide safe refuge and support services to victims of domestic violence and their children. Services include a 24-hour hotline, safe accommodations and board for victims and their children, therapeutic counseling, abuser intervention programs, legal counseling and court accompaniment
