Mythili Bachu has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and is the founder and president of MGA Consultants, Inc. She has worked with Employer Retirement Plans since 1985 and has extensive experience in both small and large pension plans. She is a member of both ASPPA (American Society Pension Professionals and Actuaries) and NIPA (National Institute for Pension Actuaries). She serves on the Government Affairs Committee at ASPPA. Ms. Bachu is Chair of the Council of Hindu Temples of North America (CHTNA) an association of Hindu Temples on this continent. CHTNA’s goal is to promote Hindu religious and cultural activities on the North American continent towards the management and development of Hindu Temples. Mythili Bachu served on Sri Siva Vishnu Temple (SSVT) board 2006 -2012, as a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and President. SSVT is one of the largest Hindu Temples located in Washington, DC. Ms. Bachu serves on the Board of Directors of the Interfaith Conference in Washington, D.C. She was first appointed to the Commission for Women in December 2012 and served as its Vice Chair from 2014 until 2015, when she was elected Chair. Ms. Bachu held that office from August 2015 – June 2018.
