A. Diane Williams

Diane Williams, a retired Contracting Officer, is a Contracting Consultant to support the Federal Government and is also an entrepreneur. Ms. Williams has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Cum Laude, from Columbia Union College and a Certification from the University of Virginia in Contract and Procurement Management. A noted advocate for women and women’s issues, Ms. Williams is a member of various organizations for women. She served as President of the Women’s Action Coalition of Prince George’s County in 2006-2009. Ms. Williams served as Chair of the Public Relations, Legislative & Community Awareness Committee for the Prince George’s County Commission for Women, and also served on the Board of Directors of the Family Crisis Center Prince George’s County and Executive Board of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Prince George’s Chapter. She was appointed to the Maryland Commission for Women in 2009 and served as Chair of the Health and Wellness Committee in 2010-2012 and Co-Chair, 2013 Women’s Hall of Fame. Ms. Williams received the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives in honor of her outstanding and invaluable service to the community and was appointed in 2014 to the Governor’s Commission on the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Passage of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution and serves as Chair of its Coordination Committee.
